Get there a little early to grab a bite to eat, some of the best BBQ in Texas (IMHO). The concert part is alright, its outdoors, Stubbs likes to pack A LOT of people in. Not the best place to see a concert, but not the worst either. VIP part is set up a little above the stage.

I was at Stubb's the last time they played there in June of 2003 and they played a sold-out show. It was unbelievable... The sound was great- Stubb's gets voted consistently "best live music venue" of all of Austin, Texas. It is their only Texas date so I would recommend getting tickets as soon as they go on sale (Set. 10th) to be on the safe side. And yes, the best place to eat bar-b-que in Texas.
